So I’m surveying what’s out there to bring you the absolute best.

As you already know I am a huge fan of Rocket Spanish and I thought I might bring you a little teaser to help you make up your mind.

So what can you expect? Well firstly you’re not about to be overwhelmed with nuisance emails, you will however recieve each week a 100 word bite size nudge to keep you on track.

It’ll direct you to your free trial within Rocket Spanish where you’ll interact with a short but relevant topic.

I have condenced the last 3 emails that I have recieved so that you can see exactly what I mean.

  1. Planning a meeting
  2. Introductions
  3. Taking a photo

You may want to plan a meet up between friends and you’ll want to make sure you arrive on the right day at the right time.

There’s lots of helpful Spanish vocabulary here, so take your time, listen carefully to the Spanish pronunciation, and practice saying the words and phrases aloud.

  • ¿Nos juntamos?   Shall we meet up?
  • ¿A qué hora nos juntamos? … What time shall we meet up?
  • ¿Dónde nos podemos juntar? …Where can we meet?
  • ¿A dónde vamos … Where shall we go?
  • ¿Qué tal mañana? … What about tomorrow?

By CLICKING HERE you can access exactly how to pronounce Spanish correctly. Bring a coloquial feel to your Spanish by practising your best accent.

Introductions are a staple need but we learners can get very stuck with ¿Cómo estás?

You’ll learn how to say hello and goodbye at different times of day, and ask people how they are and what they’ve been up to. Just as importantly, you’ll practice some ways to reply when people ask you!

Let’s try some new greetings…

  • Buenos dias … Good morning.
  • ¿Cómo te va? … How’s it going?
  • ¿Qué tal? … What’s up?
  • ¿Qué haces? …What are you doing?

..and then some responses..

  • Como siempre … As always.
  • Todo bien… All good.
  • Un poco cansada/o… A little tired.
  • Estoy inferma/o …I’m sick.

Travelling through a Spanish speaking country you will no doubt have plenty of opportunity to ask for someone to take a photo for you or you may want to offer to take a photo for someone else.

As the old adage goes ‘a picture says a thousand words’ and it’ll feel like you’ve learned just as many in this lesson

  • ¿Disculpe, puedes sacar un photo por favor? … Excuse me, can you take a photo please?
  • ¿Hola. Puedo sacar un photo para ti?… Hi. Can I take a photo for you?

This is just a snap shot (pun intended!!) to think about the really useful Spanish that Rocket Spanish will introduce you to.. and this really is the key. If you can’t use it my experience is you won’t remember it.

Procrastinate no longer. The message is clear. If you haven’t already…go straight to Rocket Spanish and make today the day you start your Spanish learning journey.
